Yes, I’m horrible and lazy and it’s been months. Not that I haven’t had anything to say, but I’ve just been busy getting back on track with a lot of things. I’m working again, I’m back in school, and I’m trying to still have fun in the middle of all of it. I suppose it would have been awesome to blog about our summer trip to Vegas buuuuuut… oh well! Maybe I’ll talk about it if I feel like it.

Shiny Toy Guns is one of my all time favorite bands ever so it’s amazing that I haven’t had a SoTD by them yet. I like both their new and their old sound, no matter what anyone says. As long as they’re making the kind of music they want to make, I totally respect wherever they go on their musical journey… even if one day it’s really not for me. I’d want people to think the same of me if it were my band, you know? I love lots of different styles of music and I’d love to make songs in all the different styles, so I understand by some people “change” their sound. It’s fun to do something different, you know?

I’ve had this drafted since.. whenever my last post was, but I never got around to posting it ’til now. This is one of my favorite TBM songs. I’m so glad they re-recorded it for Walking With Strangers! The… demo version, I guess, will always be a classic for me though. There’s a few lyrical differences between the two versions, and I love them both. <3
